Is there anyone left on the planet not following - and being inspired by - Karin Jurick's latest project BUST-ed? Click here to check it out. Wow. And so it was that, in the midst of other [more important?] things, I was compelled to resume my Little Women series - click here and here and here to see a few of my old favs. I love painting faces.

I like this painting and the other women you painted. I hope you paint more Little Women. :-)

This is very cool, Mitzi. Letting the black ground come throught to create outlines of the forms gives it an antique-ish, art nouveau feeling. Very nice.

Like Stephen, like the background coming through and the green reflecting back into her flesh. Nicely done. Thanks, Mitzi for visiting my blog.

This is a favorite Mitzi, I love the apprehensive look on her face!

Fun to see all these great paintings Mitzi. Love, love the little boy on the beach.
Great job with this Little woman. Wish I could get up the courage to do more faces.
Can't wait until our workshop!
